Why you should never leave your children unsupervised!

Fun with my sister

My sister and John came over for dinner last night. She is almost 30 weeks along. I felt the little guy kick the other day. It is so cool to be on the other side of it and be an aunt--almost:)

She is cranky though:):):):):) her belly is cute and she dresses way cuter than I ever did when I was pregnant. oh well.

You can see in some of the pics her little belly. Gavin calls him little "Gerbert"! He has a nickname for everyone. He loves to feel the baby kick and hug Aunt Jackie's belly.

RN in the Family!

okay! so my cousin has been working her brain off--literally at going back to school and becoming a nurse. She has been so diligent in her work and we have been praying so hard for her. She is so smart it blows me away. Things I could never comprehend learning--she aces! She has wanted this and like Psalms 37:4 says--"...He will give you the desires of your Heart." Well, she was already to graduate in May and she had some set backs with credits and for awhile she was not sure she was going to actually make it and graduate. Well, she made it she graduated. We have prayed and prayed--as she has too--I'm sure!

She then continued on to study and take her state boards. I called her last week and she was frantically studying. I told her to call me as soon as she had the news!
She called me Monday morning--the Lord is true to His words--like we didn't know that already! She passed! woohoo! Congratulations, Kristin, RN.!!!!!!!!Love you!

Ps-I just had to share the wonderful news! God is good!...All the time...God is good!

Summer Break?

I thought I was on summer vacation, but I think I am busier now than I was when I was teaching...Life is so crazy. While I am not teaching, I started my break by leading a VBS section at our church. I biked up there every morning with the kids M-F. It was a lot of fun. Gavin had a preschool group and we all learned about how Awesome God is. After that I started in on my masters class.
Summer means Todd working a lot--not all bad though:) We have finally finished our kitchen and now wokring on other projects. we still say we are going to try to sell--we'll see if we get there.
Gavin got to go to a Lugnuts (baseball) game with my Dad. HE had a lot of fun and got spoiled a little. He came home with more than enough suveniours...and my dad has some of his own memories of taking out his grandson without his parents:):):):)
Taylor loves the birds in the sky and loves to talk to them (more like yell). She also loves watching the jets and airplanes that fly over our house.
Mommy is busy keeping two kdis happy and busy playing while keeping house and doing online classwork.
We are moving up in the world though-we finally got internet at home so that I can get my classwork done--and of course update our blog more often. :)
My camera is broken and sent out to Best Buy right now so I have no new pictures--none to be taken because it has been broken.
We are tkaing ourfirst family vacation July 28-Aug. 4th and we are so excited. We are going to Indian Lk, UP, and sight seeing up there. I can't wait:)
