Technology Challenged

Okay so I have spent most of my day trying to figure out my stupidness. I think I've got it--please heed to my advice--this was so not worth it:)
If you do not see your link on the side, will you PLEASE resend me your blog link so I can put it back on there. Thank you:):):):):)

Never mess with a good thing!

Don't ya know you should never mess with a good thing?! Obviously I haven't learned that yet! I was trying to be creative-I know-yikes! I wanted to update our blog and make it more "Springy" or "Summery"! Well, I messed the whole thing up and lost my links list. I can't find it anywhere in cyber-space. I am very frustrated with myself as I have no idea how to get my blogs list back. Word for the wise (unlike me):)--NEVER MESS WITH A GOOD THING!:)

Please Pray!

We received word last week that a friend of our's was killed in an unusual accident. Chad was working on a car (underneath it) when it fell on him. The impact killed him instantly. He left his wife, Sarah, and two little girls (younger than Gavin). We went to school with Chad and have hung out with Chad and Sarah since we have all been married. Please pray for the family. His funeral is today, (Monday). Sarah has a lot of mixed emotions right now. She goes from being angry to sad, and back and forth.--As anyone can imagine.
Going to a small school and knowing everyone so closely, made this a close to home experience for a lot of us that went to school together. Todd and I went to the viewing yesterday. It was very hard to see what his family is going through. We found out on Thursday evening right after it had happened. Ever since, it seems like it is all I can think about. I cannot imagine the loss of my husband. I pray and I pray. Immediately after finding out, I just thanked the Lord for everything my family has. "Thank you Lord for my family. Thank you for my husband, Thank you for my kids. Thank you that we are all healthy. Thank you that we are all safe."

I think it was a reality check for many of us--at least expecially for me. I know I pray to God when I need his strength and help, but I sometimes think I get too busy to thank Him. I thank him continuously now. Everytime I think about it I thank Him. I have a husband to go home to and love; and kids who I love so much. I have so much to be thankful for.

Please pray for Chad's family as they try to cope through this time. Please pray for Sarah as she will probably have some big decisions to make in the near future all by herself. Please pray for her to have strength--only from the Lord--to keep going even when it is extremely tough--she has two little girls who need her even more now. Please pray that over time she will feel a peace about her--also only from the Lord. Please remember the rest of the families involved--both Chad and Sarah's families. Chad had a younger brother too.
We will keep you posted.
Thank you for praying.

1st day of Spring Break!

See-the first day of my Spring Break and my promise has already been met! I told ya when I got on Spring Break I would upload some pics. on here. Well, there up! Check them out. (You may have to scroll down to see them in chronological order-scroll up from there).

We are up at my Grandparent's property for a couple of days (coming home Saturday). It is so nice to start my vacation with a vacation from home. Todd's parents and family came up with us and then on Easter Sunday we will see my family.

It is weird being up here and being on the internet. They have high fiber-optics up here now--it is amazing the technology we have!

How Fun!

Happy Easter Everybody!

Look at the Birthday Princess!

Birthday Princess! She was the star of the day! We had a big party with family. All of her great grandparents were there! It was special to see all but one of them at the same event!
At first she was not too sure about all of the people in our house, but she warmed up and started playing in no time!

My mom made her Princess cake . She loved digging into that.
She had lots of presents-which she loved opening. (with the assistance of her brother and mommy).

My Pigtails!

I am so cute! Look at my pigtails! Aunt Jackie does my hair like this! (Mommy's not good at it). They are a little uneven, but that's what makes it cute:) I love to be the center of attention when my brother gives a rest for a minute!:)

Look at her Belly!

My sister is 14 weeks pregnant-they get to see what they are having in two weeks.
It is exciting to see it from a different perspective--not actually going through it myself:) She does eat like a horse! it's kinda funny!:) (she'll kill me for saying that)

Biggest Fan!

Aunt Danielle is a senior this year. We traveled to see almost all her games.
Taylor got her belly autographed (without Mommy knowing):)

Gavin is 4!

Gavin actually got 3 birthday parties this year because of our ridiculous Michigan weather! He got a camoflage cake--Mr. Hunter, himself. He thought it was cool that for three weeks he got a birthday party and presents. :)

whew!

Whew!-is all I can say these days. It seems like some days just come and go without me even noticing while others drag so slow I think it is eternity. I have officially finished my first semester of my masters. woohooo! I have a mini-break until the 1st of May. I have been so swamped I have not been able to get on here and update and upload pics. in a while. I was just talking to Todd's cousin about it and her reply was "I can't imagine why you can't find the spare minute to get on the blog!" Funny how busy life gets. I think somedays, I am asking for trouble as full as my plate is, but then other days jsut float by. Thank the Lord spring break is only one more day away.

Todd is back to work-now for three weeks-and feels good. A little sore frmo being out of shape, but his back is holding up strong-Praise the Lord.

The kids have bnoth had birthdays (pics coming soon -maybe on my spring break). Gavin is now four and very proud of being a "BIG" guy now. Taylor jsut turned one and is loving every minute. She has taken her first steps alone and getting more daring as the time passes.

Well, sorry so short-more to come next week on my break!
Thanks for checking in! I have to go teach 4th grade math!:)
